		<description><![CDATA[i  would NOT purchase a ring or any other jewelry from Jared.  I brought in a $16,000 diamond to have the prongs repaired and was advised to replace the whole head.  This was on September 11, 2009.
On August 9, 2010 I was putting lotion on my hands and was sickened to see that the whole diamond including the head was gone.  I went into the store at the Vista Ridge, Lewisville, TX location and spoke with the Assit Mgr. Jon Scheyzer, and he told me to bring the ring into the store and he would see what he could do for me. That was on September 5, 2010, I returned the next day Sunday and left my ring with Jon.  Two days later he called and whenI returned his call the next day was told that I could purchase a new diamond from Jared &quot; at my expense&quot;  but they were not going to do anything for me. I hung up and then called back and asked Jon would they be willing to give me a complimentary appraisal on a couple of pieces of jewelry that I had to show customer good will and customer retention.  I thought at least they could give me something.  I was told no that they would not be willing to do anything and I could contact customer service.

People thing long and hard about the place of business that you purchase your keepsake.  Jared doesn&#039;t give good customer service.
